"The University of Houston Victoria as had great success with TexasNonprofits. We use the site for press releases, job posting and grant searches. The foundation searches are of great benefit; because they offer details that most search sites do not. The data base also adds a personal touch in regards to the foundations history and mission; which helps organizations like UHV know if our mission aligns with theirs. This process saves time and money for both the nonprofit and the foundation. I would also like to comment on the articles that are on the website. They are very helpful in giving readers a behind the scenes view on community issues and successes, donor and foundation relations and the overall interests in the State of Texas. Thank you for all you do for nonprofits in Texas."
Amy Mundy, Director of Annual Giving, University of Houston-Victoria
“It was more than likely a phone conversation and I may not remember everything but when you called to introduce your website, you said it was new but you named several technical area that were coming on board to add features that would expand its service in many directions--like the virtual tours and search areas. What amazed me was the speed of the work--I expected it to take a long time but everything you told me about was up and running remarkably fast. I always enjoyed your excitement about upcoming features. In this day and time, you get so many empty promises which never quite materialize and I was impressed that you always followed through--magnificently! I share your excitement and hope some of my referrals have taken advantage of your services. Also, you continued to call and ask if we had any special events or programs to announce on the website--I did not take advantage of that like I should--I was too focused in our immediate area but I was impressed that you called frequently to encourage me to use all your services. It has been so exciting starting with you from the beginning and watching your website grow beyond our imagination. It is everything you promised and more. Even now, you have remained so personable with your calls to us and offer to help along with always being available for us. It has been such a pleasure to tell others about your website. I will miss going there to learn more about the nonprofit world and gather information. Of course, a lot of information is available without the subscription and I will definitely continue to visit. I have encouraged many others to visit your website to look around. Thank you for all the information you gather for our Texas Nonprofits!

“Cross in the City is small nonprofit ministry in Pasadena, Texas (near Houston) working with troubled youth. Our organization just added a staff member who needed gang outreach training. I received an invitation to speak at the National Gang Crime Research Annual Convention in Chicago and a free pass for my staff member to attend. The only catch was we had to pay for the travel and lodging. Thanks to a response from TXNP, we had the staff member’s travel completely covered. We sent two staff to Chicago to the nation's largest conference on youth in gangs where they attended 4 days of seminars, met with youth and gang leaders and ministries from all over the country! The training was exactly what was needed. Thank you TXNP for making it possible!”
Rev. James Leslie, Executive Director, Cross in the City, Pasadena

“The TXNP job search was invaluable to me when I first arrived in San Antonio and the interviews set up by the Bacon-Lee firm were wonderful. You have a terrific partner in this group. Never did I consider that I would have to choose from such delightful opportunities, most of which were brought to my attention through your offerings. Since then, I have referred a number of folks in development, or development-related activities to your job search link. TXNP’s data is more concise than many. While still in Laredo with the Sisters of Mercy and Mercy Ministries of Laredo, we derived great benefit from the press coverage we received through TXNP. In all, yours is a terrific service and I continue to extend all my best wishes.”

“The National Kidney Foundation uses and benefits from TXNP in many ways. We use the site to search foundations for that potential "fit" between our needs and the foundation's interests. We use the site for posting job opportunities when we have a staff opening. I personally use the site to keep abreast of the newest news in the non-profit sector. Thanks for all you do for us at NKF! Cheers...Marolyn”
