Grants are usually made to provide seed money for innovative and start-up programs which will generate additional future funding or revenues. Capital projects will also receive favorable consideration. Preference is given to Proposals supporting direct human services and one-time grants not requiring additional funding. Priority is given to applications having direct relevance to the problems and quality of life of the Coastal Bend area.

Eligibility:

Grants are made only to non-profit organizations which have federal tax-exempt status – 501(c)(3). Grants are made only in the seven-county area served by the Coastal Bend Community Foundation, unless otherwise designated by donors (Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio and San Patricio).
