The Amarillo Area Foundation does not limit its discretionary grantmaking to a particular field or area of interest. Rather, it seeks to support the entire range of human needs in the Panhandle

Eligibility:

Limited to the 26 Northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle. Organization must: (1) Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization as defined in Section 509(a)(1) and/or Section 170(b)(1)(a)(vi) or Section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code. Individuals are not eligible applicants. (2) Use grant funds within and for the benefit of the residents and communities of the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. (3) Provide an annual financial audit conducted by an independent CPA if the annual operating budget is $100,000 or more.
