WSSA RECEIVES $25,000 CHALLENGE GRANT
With the Winston Fund Drive in full swing, 100% of faculty and staff have given their annual donation.
Students are competing for a pizza party and for an off-campus luncheon that will occur next semester. The deadline for parents to donate as part of these competitions is Friday, December 14. As of November 12, Ms. Moran’s class leads the Lower School with 68%, Mrs. Lane’s class leads with 50% in the Middle School and Ms. Diegel class leads with 75% in the upper school. The first class/core and the first level (lower, middle or upper school) to reach 100% participation are the winners.
To encourage more gifts to the Winston Fund Drive, a generous, anonymous donor has provided a $25,000 challenge grant. Any annual fund gift received from any source as of November 7, 2012, will be matched 1:1 up to $25,000. This is an exciting way to leverage the power of a tax-deductible gift.
Unrestricted gifts received through the Winston Fund Drive help bring assets to our children for enhanced academic and social experiences such as:
Gifts and written pledges received by December 31 will be acknowledged on a thank you banner that will be displayed in the school foyer during the spring semester.
