Youth Video and Slam Summer Camps!
The Writer's Garret

May, 2017

  M-F  June 5-9
9 am - 5 pm
Instructor: Tamitha Curiel  
For Children and Youth, ages 10-16   
Video Camp is a complete immersion into the world of film making, including collaboration in writing a script or song for performance in a short film. Together, participants will plan shots and storyboards, cast roles, rehearse, film, and edit the video. 
This year, our young filmmakers will get firsthand experience 
putting their video skills to the test with a special video scavenger hunt on DART rails! 

Tuition: $160 (Early Bird Members through May 22)
$185 (Members); $230 (Non-members)
*Tuition includes all program fees, including DART ticket purchase.

For Tweens & Teens, ages 12-18
At Slam Camp, youth ages 12-18 find that poems read aloud become spoken, students get a firsthand look at how to create astonishing performance poems, then travel via DART rail to perform at pre-selected venues.
Tuition: $160 (Early Bird Members through May 22)
