Spots quickly filling up for 2016-17 Season Auditions and 2016 Summer Singing Camp
2016-17 Season Auditions

The Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas (CCGD) is one of America’s largest and most prestigious youth choral programs and serves as the official children’s chorus of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. CCGD’s six choruses feature more than 450 4th–12th grade singers, drawn from 54 communities throughout the metroplex. CCGD performs several concerts at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center each season. Rehearsals are in downtown Dallas on Monday nights during the school year.

2016 Summer Singing Camp

Dates: June 6-10, 2016

This half-day camp is for any child who has completed third through seventh grade.

This is your opportunity to experience singing with conductors from one of the most respected children’s choruses in the country. CCGD directors Cynthia Nott and Kimberley Ahrens instruct this choral singing camp for 3rd-7th graders. Campers will also learn to play percussion instruments from Orff Specialist Michael Chandler. The week will culminate in a free concert for family and friends. 

LOCATION: First United Methodist Church, 1928 Ross Avenue, Dallas 75201

TIMES: 1:00 - 4:00 pm (Morning Session is full)

FEE: $125.00 (a $25 non-refundable deposit is due with your registration form; the remaining balance is by Tuesday, May 31). No tuition is required for students enrolled in DISD schools, but a $25 holding fee is required. This fee will be refunded upon completion of camp, if requested.
