CPMF Spring News: April 19 Soiree & May 5 Big Give
Cactus Pear Music Festival

March, 2015

April 19 "Soirée Specials" Concert
at Briscoe Western Art Museum
We are pleased to collaborate with Briscoe Western Art Museum as they host our next Soirée Specials Concert. The concert, starting at 3 pm, will feature The Waterloo Brass Quintet.
The afternoon will include our usual offerings that make these afternoons so memorable: great music, a wonderful venue, terrific company and a buffet of delectable food along with award-winning Becker Vineyard wines. We look forward to being at the Briscoe for the first time.
We will shortly be sending out an e-invitation to our mail list. Keep an eye on your inbox so you don't miss out on this limited seating event.

The Board Announces Matching Gift
for The Big Give S.A. Campaign

Can you help match it?

Drs. Sheila Swartzman and Kenneth Bloom have personally committed a sum of $6,000 to CPMF to be used as an incentive for Matching Gifts during The Big Give S.A. campaign this spring. Every dollar you donate goes to matching this gift. By maximizing this $12,000 opportunity, CPMF can continue to bring great artists to the Festival, to take educational engagements into the community -- whether to the young or to adults in retirement establishments -- and to continue with our Young Artist Program which awards tuition-free scholarships to serious young student musicians who win auditions to our 2 1/2 week intense summer music fellowship program.
Is chamber music your passion?
Can you offer a matching gift?
We are also looking for other matching gifts that music lovers and CPMF-supporters might entertain to further our musical vision. Please contact Executive Director Reneé Davis directly if a matching gift is a fundraising tool you can offer CPMF.
Every gift helps. We thank you for all levels of support.

Every summer, CPMF takes our concert programs, in shortened form, to the children and families as we reach out to inspire and educate. Our Young People's Concerts are FREE and open to the public. For the free concerts listed, groups of 4 or more MUST make reservations by July 7. Call 210.838.2218 or send us an email here.
