Silver & Black Give Back is thrilled to announce the inaugural winners of the Facility Improvement Grant. Investing in the infrastructure of organizations that operate our programs is a goal that we have been working toward for five years.

Congratulations to the ARC of San Antonio, Ella Austin Community Center and Brooks Inner City Sports! These three organizations were all selected to receive a portion of the $50,000 funding set aside for facility improvements from Silver & Black Give Back.

Team Up Challenge applications due Oct. 1

It's that time of year again! Silver & Black Give Back is ready to award over $150,000 to the 20 schools selected to be a part of our Team Up Challenge.

The Team Up Challenge is a service learning program that allows students to apply what they are learning in the classroom in real ways that benefit the community. Through these service-learning projects students are empowered to change the world, starting right here in San Antonio.

The initiative spans 57 districts. Students create projects in one of five categories: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness or Uniformed Services. Find out more at

Join us in empowering our students to make a difference in our community. Apply for the Team Up Challenge. Applications are due October 1.

Free tickets for nonprofit organizations

With the 2014-2015 Spurs & Rampage seasons nearly one month away, it's once again time to register to receive group ticket donations! For those of you who have been recipients of our Donated Group Tickets in the past, we are excited to update you on our new process.

1) Submit your Group Ticket Request Form: The form at the bottom of the donation page on is to be resubmitted each season. If you've submitted in previous years, you must submit again to be eligible for the 14-15 season. Click here to visit the site and download the form.

2) Request your tickets: Once Spurs games begin, you can request up to 30 tickets for your first request. Please note: Be sure to only request an amount you feel you can use. It is essential that you use all of the tickets you receive, because poor attendance will affect future ticket donations throughout the season.

3) Receive you tickets: Once we agree on the number of tickets your organization will receive, they will be emailed to you for you to print them at your leisure.

4) Redeem your tickets: Your group's ticket redemption for each game is documented. If all of your tickets were used, you will be eligible to receive more tickets. However, if you do not redeem your tickets, the number of tickets you can request will be halved. Our goal is to provide the opportunity for everyone in our ticketing program interested in attending to be able to enjoy the game.
