Another awesome All Can Ski
Smiles and a sense of accomplishment could be seen on the faces of San Antonio Sports All Can Ski participants, August 19 - 21. Almost 125 people with disabilities experienced the fun and freedom of waterskiing on the ski lake at Sea World, and it showed on their faces. This marked the 22nd year of the event, which could not happen without the generosity of Sea World, our volunteers and sponsors.Click here to see photos from this amazing three-day event.

New Sponsor & New Location for KiDS ROCK San Antonio
KiDS ROCK San Antonio powered by San Antonio Sports announced SUBWAY® as the new title sponsor of the 1-mile kids run. This year, the non-timed, non-competitive children’s event will take place at Sea World® San Antonio on Saturday, December 6. More than 3,000 children are expected to participate.

Children in kindergarten through seventh grade can become marathon finishers on race day by completing a marathon-training program, where they accumulate 25.2 miles over a four to eight week training period and then finish the final mile on race day. Children do not need to participate in the training program to be a part of the KiDS ROCK event.

San Antonio Sports will distribute KiDS ROCK training logs to more than 180,000 local elementary school children. The logs allow them to track their training on a daily basis. On race day, each child receives a medal and t-shirt as they cross the finish line of their final mile -- completing their own “marathon.” Each participant will also receive one free entry into Sea World.

Mission Tortilla
Thanks to Mission Tortilla for sponsoring San Antonio Sports’ 2014 Fit Family Challenge presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Texas. Families attending the big events learned that “healthy tortilla” is not an oxymoron. Mission Tortilla served a healthy snack of their low carb tortilla with peanut butter and banana, the perfect morning treat!
