Carnegie Hall Launches Lullaby Project in Austin, Texas
Any Baby Can & Austin Classical Guitar

April, 2014

Following the success of the 2013 Lullaby Project Pilot, New York-based Carnegie Hall has pursued expansion this year to three cities nationwide. Austin Classical Guitar and Any Baby Can are partnering to launch the venture in Austin, Texas.

The Lullaby Project offers new and expectant mothers an opportunity to collaborate with professional musicians to write personal lullabies for their babies. The lullabies are then professionally recorded and given to the mothers to play for their newborns. The creative experience helps young women and their partners imagine themselves as parents, bond with their babies, and establish positive support networks.

“As an agency with a strong focus on helping mothers bond with their babies, Any Baby Can is proud to bring the Lullaby Project to Austin and offer this incredible opportunity to our clients,” said Any Baby Can executive director, Margi Preston. “Austin Classical Guitar adds a special touch by bringing local talent to guide our mothers through the process,” she adds.
