Children at Risk

January, 2012

Join Us for a First Look at the

Texas Public Education Cuts- Impact Assessment

Be one of the first to learn how the $5.4 billion dollar education budget cuts affected students in districts across the state, and learn how to better advocate for Texas education at the capitol during the 83rd Legislative session. The unprecedented cuts in 2011 have compromised high quality instruction, and our students need an advocate to make their education a priority for policy makers. For the first time, CHILDREN AT RISK will release its full findings of the year-long survey that researched how schools and districts implemented the cuts, discussing both innovations and drawbacks.
