What a Deal for You AND for San Antonio Sports!

SAHLAI love a good deal, especially when I can help out a good cause too. San Antonio Sports is one of three charity beneficiaries of the San Antonio Hotel & Lodging Association’s (SAHLA) Angel Program. You can take your family to Sea World, Six Flags, a museum, or stay at one of San Antonio’s many fabulous hotels for a remarkably discounted price, with proceeds shared by the SAHLA charities. Now select hotel rooms have been marked even lower (from $49-$99).

It’s a great buy for corporations, teams and other groups too. What have you got to lose! Visit ¬ and click on the angel. Please select “San Antonio Sports” from the dropdown menu when you check out, so they’ll know how you heard about this opportunity and that you’re supporting our nonprofit organization.

All Can Ski
All Can SkiAll Can Ski, the largest waterskiing clinic for people with physical disabilities in the United States and a program of San Antonio Sports, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. More than 100 individuals of all ages are expected to participate Aug. 21-23 on the ski lake atSeaWorld San Antonio, including wounded military men and women, many of whom are being treated at San Antonio’s Center for the Intrepid.

Started in 1992, All Can Ski was created to provide persons with physical disabilities the opportunity to experience waterskiing. Such disabilities include spinal cord injuries, spina bifida, amputees, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and multiple sclerosis.

“For so many participants, this is a chance to leave wheelchairs and crutches on the dock and experience the thrill of water skiing” says Ross Davis a Paralympic gold medalist who has coordinated the event since 1995. Special sessions are held just for kids and for the wounded warriors.
