choirJune 20, During July, choirs at the Westheimer Campus join forces as Choir One to sing at the 11 a.m. services. To "Try out" the choir, attend rehearsals beginning June 20 at 7:15 p.m.  


Pure Sound Alumni Choir will sing during the 9:45 a.m. worship service in July. To sing, show up in the Choir room at 9:15 a.m. Sunday mornings.

Galveston BaySt. Luke's VBS has selected Galveston Bay Foundation
 as its mission project for 2012. During the week campers will learn about protecting our beaches and will help save the oysters at a traveling "wetland" pool and helping to save the oysters!Donations can be made online.

June 23, CIY: Move 2012High School students learn more about themselves, each other, and relationships with God at this 5-day event held at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Contact Adam Everett. 

June 24, Summer SongPlay!is an 8-week  interactive class for infants through preschoolers and their adult of choice. Learn more about Summer session. 

June 25-29, Sing Broadway! is a summer musical theater experience for children entering grades 2-5. The program will meet daily with a final performance at 6 p.m. on June 29.  Contact Monica Griffin at 713-402-5110.

July 1, Special Break Bread Patriotic Celebration in Canterbury Hall (Gethsemane Campus) at 
12:15 p.m. Come for fellowship and singing and bring a dish to share.

July 14, Sr. Adults attend Summer Chills at the Alley Theatre for a production of Agatha Christi's Black Coffee. Call Kathy Neely at 713-402-5139.


July 10, FASST, Friendship And Social Skills Trainingteaches children ages 7-11 about making/keeping friends, and appreciating differences. Peer groups, led by Amy Birchill Lavergne, M.Ed., LMFT-S, LPC-S will meet Tuesday afternoons from July 10 - August 28. Cost is $20 per session, and registration for all 8 sessions is required by July 2. Contact Nick Finnegan Counseling Center at 713-402-5090. 


July 12, CATTS,Children's Art Therapy Team Support is a program for youth ages 5-17 with a relative suffering from a long-term/life-threatening illness. CATTS meets Thursday evenings from July 12 - September 13. Registration(713-402-5090) is required by July 2.
