What is the atmosphere that encourages development and progress on our faith journeys? What are the components that work together to grow a healthy faith?

 May 15, When the Servant Becomes the Master presented by St. John's graduate, addiction expert and author Jason Powers, M.D.  

This presentation is for all who want to learn more about addictions and their effects on the entire family.


There will be a reception at 
5:30 p.m., Dr. Powers' presentation and a time for questions at 
6 p.m., and book signing at 7 p.m. in the Hines Baker Room. No charge. Call 713-402-5090 to register or to request free childcare with one week notice.

June 4, How do we find sacred moments in our everyday lives? A Summer Book Group for Women facilitated by Linda Burch will readSeeing What Is Sacred by Ken Gire, which discusses this very issue. The group will meet on Monday nights in June, beginning June 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel Parlor.  Participants are asked to purchase or download the book which is available through Amazon.
