Spend the summer on a whirl wind tour of the Bible with Justin Coleman and Steven Biegel! The Bible in 90 Days will meet Wednesday mornings beginning June 6, from 6:45-7:50 a.m. This study will emerge from the Men's Life Community, but is open to all.Register online or contact Adult Ministries at 713-402-5139 for more information.

bingoSt. Luke's Singles 
will serve ice cream and play Bingo with the residents at Hospitality Apartments on Thursday, May 10, at 7 p.m.  The apartments, located at 7300 Bertner, are home to long-term patients and their families who are having treatment at the Medical Center. General Conference

1,000 elected delegates from around the world are gathered in Tampa to worship, pray, debate and ultimately vote on critical issues facing the Methodist Church.

May 6, Adoption Discovery Class will give you step-by-step guidance, encouragement and support as you learn about all types of adoptions. This information/orientation session is offered from 4-5:30 p.m. Actual five-week course is begins May 20. Materials are $12. May 5, Young Adult Crawfish Boil, the Luminous Sunday School class is hosting a Crewfish boil for young adults on the Blanton Field from 1-5 p.m. for more information (and to make sure we have enough food,)


May 8,  United Methodist Women's tour of Lanier Theological Library and The Stone Chapel, an amazing new Houston landmark in the Champions area off 1960.   A church bus will leave Gethsemane Campus at 9:30 a.m. and Westheimer Campus at 9:50 a.m. for an 11a.m.tour.  There is no fee for the bus or tour, but reservations are encouraged by calling (713) 402-5094 or emailing Chicky Fowler at

May 10, The UMW Night Circle will meet 6 - 8:30 p.m. at the home of Jackie Hall Broussard in the Heights, 710 East 10th Street. 11 a.m. service.  


May 16, Celebrating Mothers, a fellowship service at the Gethsemane Campus  with dinner and music, 6-8:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. 


May 15, When the Servant Becomes the Master presented by addiction expert and author Jason Powers, M.D. Reception at

May 18, Young Adult Spring Retreat
