As we all gather together with family and friends this holiday to celebrate what we are thankful for, we'd like to thank you for supporting Silver & Black Give Back.
Last Thursday, the POSSE (People of Spurs Sports & Entertainment) helped serve food to the residents at Haven for Hope. Haven for Hope and the San Antonio Food Bank face their busiest time of year during the holiday season, as do many of our community partners. We are grateful for the opportunities we have to support their efforts and encourage everyone in the Spurs Family to learn more about their amazing work in our community.
Our work with the Team Up Challenge and our youth sports programs serve as constant inspiration to us, and we are grateful that through your support we are able to engage young people to improve our community.

POSSE Hosts Tynan Head Start at the Rampage Cool School Day
The POSSE hosted 250 students and teachers from Tynan Head Start at the Rampage Cool School Day game on November 10. The three to five year old students, most of whom were visiting the AT&T Center for the first time, had a fantastic time watching their first hockey game and clapping along with T-Bone.
The POSSE walked over to Tynan Head Start that morning to escort the students on school buses over to the AT&T Center, and sat with them during the game - teaching the preschoolers about hockey and answering their questions. The laughter and smiles made for a wonderful start to the day!
We'd like to thank all the donors and schools that helped make Cool School Day a success - we had over 8,000 students at the game!
