All aboard the Christmas Express! The Fellowship Hall will be transformed into a magical train station with books, activities, and special events for all ages.

 This year instead of participating in the frenzied Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving, come to the Gethsemane Campus,  and make blessing bags of non-perishable food items for distribution to Houston's homeless who we see on street corners. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and end with  a pot luck lunch.  For further information, contact Mireya Ottaviano, 832-242-8176.

November 19, Blessing of the Animals Gather outside the front doors to the Sanctuary (Gethsemane Campus) at 10 a.m. for a time of worship and prayer celebrating animals and the joy they bring to our lives. For more information call Erica at 713-357-4461.

November 20, Break Bread

Come to a church-wide fellowship pot-luck which is held on the first Sunday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Gethsemane Campus. Each family is asked to bring a dish to share.

Your contribution to the Advent Flower Fund is a wonderful way to remember or honor your loved ones. To participate,  return this form to the church office by

November 27, The First Sunday of Advent. A calendar of events for the season is available online.

December 3, It's a Wonderful Life! A "live"radio broadcast of this holiday classic will be performed at 7 p.m. in the Rotunda Theater.


December 4, Gift of ChristmasIn this special Encounter service, the Encounter Band along with some of the city's finest string players will join in a musical celebration of the coming of the greatest gift of all, the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Join us  at 8:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.


December 4, All-Church Christmas Brunch served from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Activities Center featuring a NEW BRUNCH menu. Advent crafts and a visit with Santa will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a holiday sing-a-long with Rob Landes beginning at noon. $10/adult and $5/child.Tickets are available online, or can be purchase the day of the event. 


December 4, Angel Tree

10:55 a.m. Angel Tree families are invited to worship at the Gethsemane Campus

12:30 p.m. Angel Tree Luncheon with gift distribution in Canterbury Hall and Children's wing at the Gethsemane Campus.
