Prayer Walking Sermon - So who's your line leader? John Bunyan, author of The Pilgrim's Progress, said, "You can do more than pray, after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed." This coming Sunday, October 23, we begin a new sermon series entitled Prayer Walking. This series is the emphasis for St. Luke's stewardship effort. We will look at the scripture together to discover why we pray and to learn how to pray. In addition, we will offer"Ways to Pray" workshops to help you develop and enrich your prayer life. The first of these workshops is October 25, Practicing the Common Prayer led by Justin Coleman and Enuma Okora. The workshop will meet in the Youth Chapel at the Westheimer Campus at 7 p.m. You will also receive a St. Luke's prayer calendar both in the mail and by email. As you pray, know that your St. Luke's brothers and sisters across the city are praying, too. | Embrace in Community
