WHO: Five individuals who have been champions for the special-needs community and who embody character traits such as determination, caring, achievement, sacrifice and inclusion.
WHAT: Nominations deadline for Morgan’s Wonderland Walk of Fame.
WHEN: Monday, Aug. 15, 2011.
WHERE: Nominating instructions can be found on the Morgan’s Wonderland Website, www.MorgansWonderland.com.
ETC.: Walk of Fame honorees will be recognized at the “Free to Soar” gala on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Morgan’s Wonderland, and their names will be added to the Walk and Roll Path that encircles the park’s eight-acre lake. A committee from Morgan’s Wonderland and The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation, along with special advisors, will review the nominations and select five honorees.

WHO: TV and movie star Eva Longoria, who will be keynote speaker, and several hundred Morgan’s Wonderland supporters.
WHAT: “Free to Soar” gala benefitting non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first ultra-accessible family fun park designed with special-needs individuals of all ages in mind.
WHEN: 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.
WHERE: Event Center at Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive in Northeast San Antonio near the Wurzbach Parkway-Thousand Oaks Drive intersection.
