Ok, so we’re not actually giving away nonprofit technology tools these days at Greenlights, but the headline grabbed you, right?
What you may not realize (until you read this blog, of course) is that one of the most valuable gifts we get as nonprofits (next to the very generous tax-free status our “friends” at the IRS provide) is the wealth of free technology tools made available to us. I decided to take a minute to offer you a short list of some of my favorite tools (all of which are free, either to nonprofits specifically or to anyone), and a little bit of info on how Greenlights uses them. Online Social fundraising is about much more than just taking credit cards and paypal and slapping a big "Donate Now" button on your website (though a big visible button is very helpful!). It's also a lot more than yelling at folks on Twitter to donate. Successful online social fundraising requires lots of pieces of your marketing strategy and your technology tools to work together to provide a seamless, inspiring, and comforting experience for your donors.

Taught by Padgett Stratemann & Co.’s Senior Manager for HR Consulting, this workshop will clarify what your organization needs to know to identify and mitigate your risk and ensure compliance with recent developments affecting Human Resources.
