    Group Assembles, Donates Bikes
    Promotional Products Association International (PPAI)
On Saturday, March 12th, a group associated with  Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) got together to assemble and donate 10 bicycles for GRACE clients. The Build-A-Bike project was part of the association's annual community outreach. The bikes will be given out to local children ranging from four to sixteen years old.
The PPAI group poses with the bicycles they assembled and donated."We were so pleased PPAI chose to bless the children of our community with their Build-A-Bike event this year," said Shonda Schaefer, executive director of GRACE. "Our local families need a strong support system to meet the challenges they face in this present economy. It is with the support of organizations like PPAI that we are able to accomplish our mission."
We'd like to thank PPAI Board Chairman, Eric Ekstrand and all of the great folks with PPAI, as well as Alison Kieckhafer with The Event Lounge for connecting the group to us.

Feed Our Kids: Spring Break Edition
Children enjoy a nutritious meal during Feed Our Kids - Spring BreakThis week, groups from Countryside Bible Church have served free lunches to children at local apartment complexes who might not have access to a nutritious meal while school is out. The groups, led by Associate Pastor, Dusty Burris and Youth Pastor, Justin Turner have served nearly 200 meals each day at the two locations.
The volunteers have done an awesome job interacting with the children and have provided great food! We'd like to say thank you to the members of Countryside for their dedication to better lives for the children of this community.
In Summer Feed Our Kids news, only eight weeks remain to be filled, so if your company, church, or group wants to get involved, you need to contact Lori Stevens at 817-488-7009 x329 or at

These can be acknowledgement for going above and beyond, for doing a great job, or just about any reason that we might want to brighten someone's day...and let others know about it, too. But, why stop there? Why not let everyone in on these verbal gems?
Now, you can check out what some our employees have to say about each other via the "Employee Kudos" page on the GRACE website. Simply click here or look for the "Employee Kudos" link under "About GRACE" on the website menu.
