Cats and Kittens Need Foster Homes
Feral Friends

December, 2010

Please Help our Cats and Kittens
Dear Jackie,

Feral Friends is in urgent need of foster homes for several our adoptable cats and kittens. With adoptions at an all-time low and several recent returns, we are challenged to find room for everyone.
Fostering is a rewarding experience allowing YOU to play a vital role helping Feral Friends save the lives of cats and kittens who have been abandoned.
Please take a look at the sweet faces below and let us  know if you can open your heart to find room in your home for just one. If you cannot help directly, please  pass this e-mail on to anyone you think may be able to assist.
Possum is a 7 year old declawed female whose owner can no longer keep her.

These kittens were taken fom a dangerous situation where a person in the neighborhood was harming cats. They were boarding at the vet because they were ill but now they are well and just need to put on a little weight.

Luke was brought into our system by a lady who decided to adopt and keep him. When he didn't get along with the other cats, she took him to the city shelter. When they called us, we picked him up right away. He is safe now but needs a foster home.

This poor kitten was brought in with a terrible upper respiratory infection that affected her right eye. She lost her eye but she sure hasn't lost any of her sweet personality. She is feeling better now but needs to heal from her surgery before she will be ready for adoptions.

In addition, we have a volunteer whose mother has had to move into assisted living and has three cats that need a foster home. Unfortunately, our volunteer cannot foster due to space restraints in her small apartment.  These adult cats do not need to be fostered together and any help is appreciated.

You don't have to be the perfect home, just a temporary home for a kitty until their forever home is found. If you can foster just ONE cat, you will have saved a life!
Please e-mail if you can help or have any questions about fostering.
