March 14-28: Art for the Hungry

Art for the Hungry kicks off NAM’s annual Survival Over the Summer food drive. The event takes place at Willowbrook Mall. Interested businesses, churches, schools, and groups commit to collect at least 1,000 non-perishable food items, to be arranged in a sculpture at the Mall. This year’s sculpture theme is “Larger than Life.” The sculptures are set up on the evening of March 14th and taken down the evening of March 28th. All food items go to NAM’s Food Pantry. March 15-20: Spring Break Sale at NAM Resale/NAM Community Store

April 13 - Dinner with the Authors of “Same Kind of Different as Me”

NAM Resale needs Volunteers and Furniture Donations

NAM Resale is always in need of volunteers for its warehouse on F.M. 1960 between

Walters Rd.
and T.C. Jester. We welcome large groups, as well as individuals that want to make a regular commitment to work. For info on volunteering, contact 281-885-4609 or

NAM Resale also needs gently used clothing, household items, and especially furniture. Items may be dropped off at any NAM Resale location. To arrange for a furniture pick-up, call 281-880-9482.


Survival Over the

Summer Food Drive

NAM will kick off its annual Survival Over the Summer Food Drive in March. The goal of the drive is to raise $65,000 to stock the Food Pantry through the summer. The summer is a difficult time for many families since kids are out of school and utility bills are high. Lowrey Royale Organ SU500 for sale (excellent condition)

Purchased in 2003 for $58,000.

Donated to NAM in 2010.

Will arrange for free delivery within northwest Houston/Harris County. First floor only. 

NAM’s Price: $25,000 (100% of proceeds benefit NAM)

This organ is a Lowrey Royale SU500 in excellent condition. This organ is the ultimate in premium organs. It features a gorgeous traditional design with an array of modern features.

Lowrey only made 175 of these organs and it has been retired, making it incredibly desirable and hard to find. It was purchased in 2003 for $58,000 and was donated to NAM in 2010. All of the proceeds from the sale of the organ will benefit NAM’s social service programs.

The organ’s dimensions are 54″ wide by 29.5″ deep by 54.5″ high and it weights 513 pounds. Includes bench and music book.
