Request for Proposals: Renewing Our Communities Account
OneStar Foundation: Texas Center for Social Impact is pleased to launch the first of two requests for proposals (RFPs) through the Renewing Our Communities Account. Funded through House Bill 492, these RFPs are intended to encourage partnerships, reduce barriers and foster better communication among faith-based and community organizations (FBCOs), local governments and partners in the nonprofit sector.

Applications will be accepted online through the OneStar Web site until Friday, February 19, 2010, at 11:59 p.m. CST. A webinar/conference call to answer questions about the RFP will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 10 a.m. CST. Go to and enter code 156193 to access the webinar. Dial (800) 944-8766 and enter code 35642# to participate in the call.
Information such as eligibility and selection criteria can be found in the RFP through our Web site. An additional RFP focusing on local governments and FBCOs will be posted on our Web site in early February 2010.
