Board-certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, David has tried over 30 cases in state and federal courts all over Texas and argued cases before the courts of appeals and before arbitration panels.  David has represented non-profits, trust departments, financial institutions, corporations, and individuals in complex cases involving trusts, estates, financial transactions, business disputes, and real estate and construction matters.  Examples include claims involving breach of fiduciary duty; breach of duty of good faith; construction of wills and trusts; modification of trusts; suits for accounting; suits to modify the structure of non-profits; suits to remove or appoint fiduciaries; claims involving investments; allocation of mineral interests among beneficiaries; life insurance disputes; partition actions; commercial lending disputes; lender liability claims; bank operations; Uniform Commercial Code issues; breaches of contract; business torts; corporate entities; and, construction issues.  With 26 years of practice, David also counsels clients on litigation avoidance and strategies to reduce the risk of claims.
